Data sheet ELECTRIC BURNER, TECHNIBEC

Description

This versatile electric burner is a good compromise between the classic
burner and LAB'vert and LAB Microbio. It allows you to perform most of
experiments with a bunsen burner in the frame of Chemistry teaching and
initiation to microbiology.  Thanks to its configuration, the
heating device, when used in full power level, generates a flow of ascendant
warm air which temperature reaches 930 °C. A pre-heating of 2 minutes is
required to fully benefit from the device's performances. The flow of
warm air allows you to heat containers and generates a sterility area which
can be used in microbiology. Experiments requiring high temperature are also
possible, such as:- bending a glass tube- performing the fusion of
an aluminium wire

A range of accessories also
allow you to perform more specific experiments such as the study of metallic
powders flame combustionor the reaction between
iron powder and sulphur.
