This small model, moulded in 3 parts, of the bed of a river with bends, banks and drainage from a flowing valley enablesyou to explain how the river figures observed in nature are formed:- Erosion process and forms, sandy micro-cliff, dissymetry concave bank/convex bank, erosion of a bank, bend, etc.- Deposit transport, transport speed, differences in behaviour between materials, etc.- Material deposits, formation of sand banks, dead arms, bends, sedimentation in lakes or deltas, etc. Evolution of sedimentary processes and figures according to variations in slope in each portion of the river, the form and succession of reliefs, the water flow, the nature of the water and the quantity of materials.
