2019, Year of the chemistry
This year is an important year for science in which were celebrated: the International Year of Chemistry, the 150 years of the periodic table of elements (it is in 1869 that Dmitri Mendeleïev would have made this discovery), then the reception by France of the 51st edition of the International Chemistry Olympiads, from 21 to 30 July 2019.
Founded in 1968, the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) is an annual international competition bringing together the most talented chemistry students at the end of their secondary education. Countries around the world send a team of four students who are challenged on their knowledge and skills in chemistry in a practical test and a theoretical test. Every year, about 300 students take part in the International Chemistry Olympiad.
This year, France has had the honor of hosting the Olympiad. Around the slogan "Making science together", several events bringing together students, researchers, engineers, professors and companies have been organized in schools, universities and places of scientific culture to promote the role of chemistry in science and its contribution to the country's economy.
In this context, Jeulin is proud to have been a partner of the 51st edition of the International Chemistry Olympiad and to have been able to accompany this event, the final of which was held on July 29th at the Maison de la Chimie.
Thanks and congratulations to all these young international students passionate about chemistry.
In order to meet the specific needs of higher education (BTS, DUT, CPGE, universities ...), Jeulin has developed a range of products dedicated to Chemical Measurement and Microscopy. Spectrophotometers, colorimeters ... all the necessary equipment for your experiments is available from our dedicated shop
To ensure the quality of our products, we work in partnership with renowned manufacturers such as Jasco, Chauvin Arnoux, Origalys ... and we also develop our own products. The Colorimeter 1 G7 is one example. This one has also been the subject of a partnership with the International Olympiad of Chemistry. This collaboration resulted in the supply of Colorimeter 1 G7 for the experimental tests. It was subsequently introduced to the partners' forum at École Polytechnique in Palaiseau. This event was an opportunity to exchange with the students and professors representing the 80 delegations which greatly appreciated the simplicity and quality of this product.
