Data sheet Pelvis study kit
Description
This kit contains a left sided pelvis moulding of Lucy and a left sided pelvis moulding of a chimpanzee.
Thus, it represents an ideal solution for understanding and comparing significant measurements such as:
- the largest width of a pelvis
- the largest width of an ilium
- the length between the centre of the acetabulum and the the posterior edge of the ischium.
Students mark the relative position of the pelvis and lower limbs. This then deduces the proper characteristics of a human bipedalism.
Can be used by students and museum quality.
